Rod Bower was born in 1962 and adopted into a rural family. At the age of twelve his father died, changing the course of his young life for ever.

His journey has taken him from the business world, through theological training, into the Anglican priesthood. While initially a 'career priest', his choice to uncompromisingly exercise his vocation to be a 'forgiving reconciler', led him to fall from favour in his ecclesiastical world.
